The story of shoes as told by a shoe

I shine, I eat,
I carry the burden of humans
On the path that they choose,
Bearing the first experiences
Amidst dust and dirt,
I am their companian,
I am often forgotten by the humans
I am separated from them during sleep,
But on certain occasions I am their pride,
I increase their social stature,
They attract others in my presence.

The writer of this poetry is- M R Venkatesh
Look at the path of life! What is the way of leading ones life today? Everyone is out to pull the other down without understanding that they depend on each other.
When one''s usefulness is over, it is so comical to see that people stab the backs of their providers and pretend that they are successful.
In this poem, the poet M R Venkatesh has analysed and shown conclusively that in today''s world though people are interdependent they behave in such a way that it reminds us of the way we behave shoes, that is to use them and once their usefulness is complete, they are discarded with impunity. Has this become the way of society today, a society which gave birth to great sages, kings and visionaries?.....
